My best tip is to go out to your local club or your local shop ask them to have shots of each club that you fancey and which every one suits you the best then you buy that set. why im saying dont buy the dearist etc is because lets say you hit a fade all the time and you want your shots to go staighter without spending money with your pro so you wouldd go out and buy a set of golf clubs which will hit a draw shot this will make your shots go straighter. so buying the dearist set might be ok for some folk but not you.

Golf perfect

Golf Perfect

heres another little tip from Golg perfect. when your putting either put a line on the ball or use the logo of the ball and line i t up with the hole. if you do this it will let you know where the hole is instead of looking for it every time plus you can use this tip for when your driving beucase it will get you thnking that you need to hit it along the line so that helps with you hitting the ball stright and sweet. Are all of the clubs practically the same with standard grips, lengths, and the like? So, what does this observation mean? It means that standard golf clubs don't fit the majority of golfers. So if you truly want to improve your game you will customize a set of custom golf clubs, just for you. Now, you are probably thinking that custom golf clubs are even more expensive than name brand golf clubs. However, that is not necessarily the case. Not to mention that the fitted custom golf clubs you hear about aren't anything at all like custom golf clubs, they are made from scratch just for you. Don't get confused between fitted custom clubs and custom golf clubs. The fitted custom golf clubs simply start out with the standard set of clubs from any golf manufacturer and then they proceed to make the clubs more suitable to your personal and playing traits. Although the custom fitting doesn't do too much other than cost you money because they are starting with a product that doesn't fit you to begin with!

Why would anyone anticipate that mass produced clubs would help them play golf at their best? The reason is because golfers want to be better and they believe the hype from the golf manufacturers that the "newest" technology will improve their game. Well, the real answer is not in buying mass produced clubs but rather customizing your own golf clubs. Anyone who has ever had a set of custom golf clubs can tell you that finally having a set of clubs that are the right length, with the right grip, will greatly impact what you shoot the next time you are out on the golf course.

It is simply logical to buy custom golf clubs that are made to fit you or customize your own set of golf clubs. That means your golf swing is analyzed as well as your personal characteristics to create a custom golf club set that works with your golf style and not against it. A custom golf club set will allow you to have grips that are the right size for your hands, heads that reflect your skill, and shafts that are the right length and flex.

When you have your first custom golf club set made you may see some big differences from your last set of clubs. Your custom golf clubs may be a different length or the grip may be smaller or bigger. The flex may be different and the head might be different as well. For some people who set out to play with their custom golf clubs the first day they see amazing results. Others will need to make some changes and practice because although the custom golf clubs really fit their personal characteristics it's difficult to change after playing with clubs that don't fit for so long. Just a little practice and patience is all that is needed to see the difference custom golf clubs provide. Not to mention that when you have a custom golf club set made you will have new clubs that won't be in need of golf club repair any time soon! If you really love golf then a custom golf club set is really worth the investment.

these tips will help your golf swing and possible you play golf perfect<div help produce the perfect golf swing 92% of your golf is in your mind. Arnold palmer said " to get your game better you have to have a great mental game"

Ways to help your mental game can be focusing on what you want to achieve.
dont think you can just pick up a driver and hit 350 yards lol you have to be resaonable and maybe think you can hit your drive 200 yards. Another thing for the perfect golf swing basics is picture your shot. if you have 170 yards to the hole and you want to hit a drawthen stand 5 yards back and picture you hitting that shot. 7 times out of 10 youll hit that shot.

If you end up hitting the ball all wonky and that, tip to get back on track is close your eyes and take 5 deep breaths in and think of something relaxing. it will help you a promise.

perfect golf swing

The first thing i have to say about a perfect golf swing is

1. dont think that it will happen over night, it might take a few weeks or months but trust me stick in there. ( i have been playing golf for 4 years now and im a 9 handicapper but i would have never have got there without determination on trying to produce my perfect golf swing.)

2. A good thing to spend a wee bit of money on is going to see your local pro, they will give you help on what to do if your doing something majorly wrong.

3. the last thing about your swing is try and dont copy your favourtie player their swing mioght work for them but i might not work for you so please try and develop your own swing

Thanks i hoped you enjoyed a wee bit of the perfect golf swing

Jon

perfect golf swing

STOP hitting balls to warm up! Although we aren't running a marathon, our bodies take a beating from repetitive movements of the golf swing, so why not give it a proper warm up?

Do you tend to feel stiff or cold on that first practice shot on the range? If you answered yes, then keep reading. The following steps will help you feel "warmed up" for that first range ball.
pefect golf swing
The golf swing is very dynamic, meaning it involves many moving parts and coordination to be successful.

Before you start: This information is not intended to treat, cure or diagnose any medical condition or injury. Sitting all day, hunched over your computer, does not bode well for posture in general, and can wreck havoc on your performance on the golf course.

C-posture or that rounding of the shoulders and bending of the spine at address is more prevalent today due to a condition known as upper cross syndrome. The syndrome is characterized by a tightening of the chest muscles and a concomitant weakening of the upper back muscles, often the result of being over that computer. This combination pulls the shoulders forward creating the rounded shoulder posture that inevitably shows up in your golf stance.

It's estimated that more than a third of all golfers have this condition and it will rob you of power, distance, and accuracy. C-posture reduces your ability to take the club back in your backswing by up to 30%, as you cannot rotate around a bent spine as easily as you can a straight one. This reduction in backswing may decrease your ability to generate clubhead speed and power, resulting in lost yardage.

The only way to increase your backswing, with a C-posture, is to stand taller as you bring the club back, allowing for greater range of motion. This "loss of posture" swing fault, however, can affect all aspects of the golf swing including your rhythm and balance.
perfect golf swing
To correct upper cross syndrome and that C-posture, you need to focus on specific exercises to stretch the tightness and strengthen the weakness. Two such exercises are the doorframe stretch and the upper back squeeze.

The doorframe stretch is a good exercise to stretch out the chest and front shoulder. Raise your arms about shoulder height and place your forearms against a doorframe with the elbows bent 90 degrees. Without moving your feet, gradually lean into the door until a gentle stretch is felt across the chest and/or shoulders. Hold for 15 seconds and repeat 2 to 3 times. Remember to breathe normally.
Perfect golf swing
The upper back squeeze will focus on the strengthening of the upper back. Take an exercise tube or band, wrap it around a solid fixture about chest height, and grab onto each end. Step back till a sufficient stretch is felt in the tube/band and arms are outstretched in front of you with palms down. From this starting position, slowly pull the arms back, keeping the elbows up and away from your body, as far as comfort permits and then return to the starting position. You should feel your shoulder blades squeezing together. Repeat 15 to 20 times. Exhale on the effort.

Correcting the upper cross syndrome will help your golf game and your posture in general. Eliminating the C-posture will get you more yards down the fairway and enhance your playing satisfaction.

Perfect golf swing

The golf swing can be an intimidating prospect for beginner-level players. Trying to combine the various elements of the swing into one fluid movement may seem hard enough, but to then propel a small ball hundreds of yards into the distance may appear virtually impossible. When you understand the core dynamics of the golf swing, however, you'll soon learn to hit the ball with confidence.
perfect golf swing
Maintaining a proper posture before, during, and after you hit the ball allows you to make a better, more efficient swing, so it's important that you get into the habit of setting yourself up correctly. Get it wrong and you'll lose both accuracy and distance. Get it right, and you'll soon achieve the consistent swing you're aiming for.

A key factor in producing a reliable golf swing is your body position, which needs to be right at the very start. First, take a 7-iron and stand over the ball with your legs shoulder-width apart. Remember that the width of your stance differs depending on what club you use.
Perfect Golf Swing
Don't stand too far away from the ball. Your arms should hang down and not be stretched out. You also need good balance to swing and then accurately return the center of the clubface to the center of the ball, so make sure that your weight is evenly distributed over both feet.

Try not to lean forward too much, or your swing will shorten and you'll lose power. When your posture is right, the top of your spine, the tips of your elbows, your knees, and the balls of your feet should be aligned.

When driving, make sure that you keep your chin high off your chest so you give yourself sufficient room for a full shoulder turn. When pitching, bend from your waist and add extra flex to your knees. Your head should be almost over the ball.
The Perfect Golf Swing
During iron play, you should keep your shoulders back and your arms close to your body throughout the swing. You should never feel as if you're reaching for the ball. Lastly, when putting, keep your head directly over the ball, so you have to bend from the waist. This creates a smooth pendulum effect since it lets the putter follow the movement of the shoulders and remain square to the line.

The golf swing is an incredibly dynamic-if unnatural-movement. With so many moving parts, it's not surprising that things can go wrong. Achieving the right posture can dramatically reduce the mistakes in your game. And while your physical size and shape can affect your posture and the way in which you swing a club, the fundamental elements of the correct body position still apply to virtually every aspect of the game.

If you want to swing well, you'll need to get the basics right. That means mastering the all-important issues of posture, setup, aim, and alignment. Focus on movement-see just how your body should be moving throughout the swing sequence. Understand the vital stages of the swing, from the takeaway to the follow-through, and practice until you get all of them right

perfect golf swing

Add 20 Yards to Your Tee Shots With These 2 Hot Tips!

perfect golf swing

Would you like to hit the ball 20 yards further off of the tee with minimal effort? Of course you would! In this article I am going to show you how to add 20 or more yards to your tee shots, and all you have to do is read these two tips, get your free report, and go to the range!

1. The first thing that you have to do in order to increase your distance is establish a wide swing arc and proper tempo in the backswing. This is crucial to your success, because the width of the swing is essential to generating power. In addition, it is also important to set the proper tempo from the beginning of the swing. The reason this is so important is because when your swing loses the proper tempo and timing you start hitting the ball all over the place.

2. Another tip that you must follow is to maintain lag in the downswing. This means that you want to hold your wrist cock coming into the golf ball for as long as possible. Holding your wrist angle enables you to hit both longer and straighter shots, which translate into lower scores. The easiest way to do this is to start your downswing by rotating your front hip toward the target. This will naturally bring your hands into the proper position, which will produce longer and straighter drives.

These two tips should help you add 20 yards to your tee shots with just a little bit of practice.

Learn How to Take Up to 7 Strokes Off of Your Scores In Just 15 Minutes With This Free Golf Guide!

For a FREE Copy of My Brand New 15 Page Report on Improving Your Golf Game Fast and Eliminating All of Your Swing Flaws, Simply Visit http://www.mywebgolfcoach.com for Instant Access!

perfect golf swing

The main principle for you to get the perfect golf swing is a matter of knowing how to make perfect golf swing technique the proper way. For the best result, make sure you grip it at most 7 out of 10 gripping pressure.

During the swing, swing slowly and steadily and make sure you don't force it to happen. Forcing to hit the ball will only make it worse. Let the momentum do its job. Let it follow through on its own. The only thing that you will need to do at this point is to GUIDE the hand movement from the backswing to the downswing. When you let the momentum hit the ball, you will be shocked how your ball can drive farther and straighter than ever before. This is the main key to success of how to make perfect golf swing.

As you follow through the swing, (from the backswing to the downswing), you must be aware about the weight shift movement from the right foot to the left foot. During this stage, as when you shifting the weight, for a best result, twist your hip to help the weight shift easily. As you hit the ball, your weight must have already shifted entirely to the left foot. Turn your body facing the target as you follow through. Let your both of your hands continue following the rhythm entirely to the back of your body. This process is call the perfect follow through. When you have the perfect follow through, your ball will go straighter and farther.

perfect golf swing

By following and applying these simple rule as above mentioned, you will understand how to make perfect golf swing easily. Ask 50 golfers and you may get some very different answers. There are so many ways to swing a golf club and get the same results however one thing is for certain, the perfect golf swing takes work and patience and will not develop over night. This article will provide some tips to get you started toward a better more smooth golf swing.

The first step in your quest to a better swing is staying healthy. Before hitting any golf balls make sure your properly warmed up because a pulled muscle in your back or shoulder may slightly change your swing for good causing a whole host of new problems.

Step number two is to relax and do not over think this game. Golf is 90% mental and 10% skill so why think so much about what your arms are supposed to be doing or if your bending your elbow during your swing. Doing this takes focus away from your swing and will cause more miss hits. Think about the last time you were so mad with how bad your were playing that you stepped up to the tee for your next shot, didn't think about anything and hit a great golf shot. Why, you just swung without thinking.

Here is another suggestion I have for all of you who struggle to hit consistent golf shots. Loosen your grip on the club. The club is your friend and not something that you should be choking to death with your hands. This alone shaved 8 to 10 strokes off my game. Loosen the grip during set up and all the way through the swing, at first it may feel as though the club is going to fly right out of your hands but it won't. The final suggestion I have is to relax and have fun, I know sometimes it is tough but remember this is a game and games are meant to be fun not years off your life.

William Temple is an avid golfer who enjoys helping people improve their golf game by fixing their golf swing and hitting better iron shots. Fixing your golf swing will eliminate most of you bad habits.

To get your copy of the golf swing fix guide visit this website CureMyGolfSwing.com

perfect golf swing

There are many ways you could go about improving your backswing golf shot. Manufacturers are constantly pushing the limits of golf ball construction. Below are the three most basic constructions.

One Piece
A one-piece golf ball is the most basic ball that is designed primarily for beginners and occasionally used as driving range balls. This type of constructed ball is seldom used as a playing ball. It is typically made from a solid piece of Surlyn with dimples moulded in. It is an inexpensive and very durable golf ball, but does not give you the distance when hit because of its lower compression. On impact with the clubface, the one-piece ball has a softer feel

Two Piece
A two-piece golf ball is used by most ordinary everyday golfers because it combines durability with maximum distance. The balls are made with a single solid sphere (core), usually a hard plastic, enclosed in the ball's cover. The solid core is typically a high-energy acrylate or resin and is covered by a tough, cut-proof blended cover that gives the two-piece ball more distance than any other ball. These 'hard' balls are covered in either Surlyn, a specialty plastic or a similar kind of material. The firmer feel of the golf ball does produce more distance to a player' game but will also not be as easily controlled as a softer ball. The two-piece is virtually indestructible and with its high roll distance, it is by far the most popular golf ball among ordinary golfers.

Three Piece
Three-piece golf balls have either a solid rubber or liquid centre (core), a layer of enhanced rubber or a liquid produced layer and over that is moulded a cover of durable Surlyn, Surlyn like, or balata. They are softer and take more spin, allowing a skilful golfer more control over the ball's flight when hit. It typically has a higher spin rate than a two-piece ball and is more controllable by good players. The layered construction combined with a soft synthetic cover, produces a very high spin rate, providing maximum control and feel.

Four Piece
A recent addition to ball construction is the four-piece golf ball. Rare at the moment, but could be the way the ball is headed in the future. Each layer or piece of a golf ball has a specific and different purpose. All the layers work together to offer the longest hitting, softest feeling golf ball. The inner core, the first layer, of the ball is the solid rubber centre that is primarily designed to offer explosive distance. The next, inner cover, layer is in the ball to transfer the energy from the strike to the hot core. Next is the middle cover, which is the extra layer, compared to a three-piece ball. It offers the complete layer that tries to increase driver distance whilst also producing mid iron spin and feel around the green. The outer cover is where the feel of a golf ball comes from. Usually containing between 300-500 dimples, it is the thinnest layer. Made from Urethane it must be durable yet soft.

Spin Low Spin Golf Balls
The lower spinning golf balls tend to decrease side spin of your shots, allowing the ball to fly straighter through the air. The ball may not travel as far in the air, but the lack of spin will result in increased roll upon landing. Suited more to players that slice the ball and struggle to find distance, this ball will go straighter and run out on the fairways. There are many low spin golf balls on the market suited for high handicap golfers that perhaps don't have the swing speed required to produce that 300 yard drive.

Mid Spin Golf Balls
As the name suggests the mid spin golf ball bridges the gap between the low spinning golf ball and the high spinning balls. Trying to incorporate the best of both distance and feel. Aimed towards the widest range of players and suitable to most player's game, the mid spinning golf ball will offer solid distance with varied feel and softness depending on brand. Almost all major golf ball manufacturers will produce a mid spinning golf ball that they believe is suitable to all players.

High Spin Golf Balls
Last is the high spinning golf ball. This ball is designed to increase the balls spin in the air. When a golf ball is hit, it is released into the air with a certain degree of backspin; a high spinning ball will increase this spin and create a longer carry. If you are a player that hits the ball right to left with a draw, a high spinning golf ball could be the one for you.

Out of control hook shots are produced by the drawspin overpowering the backspin on the ball; so increasing backspin will help straighten out a hook/draw. The high spinning golf ball will not get the run on the fairway that either a mid or low spinning ball can, however its greatest advantage is around the greens. A high spinning ball will increase feel around and on the greens, which will help players improve control.

Feel Firm Feel Golf Balls
As the title implies, firm feel golf balls will feel hard off the clubface. Usually aimed towards distance golf balls, the hard cover will produce a more explosive hit than a softer feeling ball. Therefore choosing a firm feeling golf ball will produce the maximum distance from your driver and irons, but you will sacrifice a certain amount of feel around the greens. It is aimed towards high handicap golfers who place more importance on distance and iron play than spinning shots into greens. By far the most durable ball of the three, you will rarely mark or scuff this type and ball and as a result it will play more rounds.

Mid Feel Golf Balls
Similar to a mid spinning golf ball, the mid feel ball acts as a compromise between the explosive distance from a firm ball and the feel of a soft ball. Again suited to most players game, it is aimed towards mid handicap golfers that desire distance as well as improving their control by having a soft feel ball to use around the greens. Becoming a popular choice in today's market as manufacturers are developing mid feel golf balls that contain dual qualities of feel and distance.

Soft Feel Golf Balls
Going back to the days of balata covered golf balls, the soft feel ball is the choice of many low handicap and professional golfers. The soft feel cover means that a competent player can work spin into their game and use the soft feel to help their short game. It does not produce the distance of a firm feeling golf ball, but offers improved playability to those golfers that distance is not a weakness. Although, the vast majority of professionals use this type of soft feeling golf ball, it is not suitable for your typical amateur. The soft cover means the ball can scuff easily and will not last as long as a harder feeling ball.

Golf balls to suit you

The best golf ball for your game depends on several factors including your handicap, swing speed, and equipment specifications.

The reality is that the balls used by Tiger Woods or Lorena Ochoa will most likely not be your best choice for maximum distance, feel, and accuracy because they are designed for their unique characteristics and abilities.

As a patent award winning Golf Ball Engineer, I have made product recommendations for 100's of golfers over the past 16 years and am often asked the same questions by avid beginner and highly skilled golfers.

To answer these inquiries, I created this website to simplify the golf ball ratings process.

Follow these 3 Simple Steps to find Your Perfect Golf Ball!

1) First, you'll find a quick review of the various ball components including cores, covers, and dimples, and how they affect overall ball performance.

2) Second, you'll determine what type of golfer you are and simplify the golf ball selection process by choosing the model that's right for your game.

3) Finally, I'll show you some specific models and brands for your category so you can get started improving your game.

So let me ask you, "What are your golf goals?"

Let's asume you desire more distance, improved shot control, and lower scores. As people are used to reading reviews nowadays before buying products, it makes sense to first of all read a golf ball review to find out the pros and cons of them before buying.

Manufacturers and Varieties

Today, there are so many ball manufacturers, which means that the competition between them is very fierce. Also, there are as many varieties from each manufacturer. You will need to know about the many different features, such as the construction type, softness, feel, and spin rate.

Brands

Reading a review will help inform you about the different brands that are available. In the case of newly launched balls this information can be useful to find out if any particular one will be right for your game. Whether you want to buy a Nike ball or any other top brand ball, you should first read some reviews about the brand to find out what others are saying about it.

Features

Most golf ball reviews will provide you with the details regarding a ball's features and capabilities. One of the most important aspects is its construction type; whether it is two-piece, three-piece or four-piece. There are balls that are suitable only for low handicap golfers and others that are good for beginners

Which Review to Believe?

You should of course, not take the word of the author of the golf ball review as being gospel; you need to read several reviews before determining the reliability of opinions expressed. Before buying, by being well informed, you will at least stand a better chance of buying the right golf ball for your game.

The Best Reviews

The best reviews are the ones that are submitted by actual users. Many golfers that have used balls and are either happy or unhappy with them, like to leave a review of their experiences. Golfers are like that; they have opinions about the golf equipment they use and they like to voice their opinions.

User generated reviews of balls can give you a more balanced picture of which balls are more worthwhile for you. The reviewer can usually rate the balls as well as leave a constructive comment - better yet if they note their handicap. That way, when you visit a website that has golf ball reviews, you can study the ones you were thinking of buying to see if they will be good for you.

The Best Golf Courses in the World - A Top 10 of Golf Courses Guaranteed to Challenge!

We all have tick-lists...Restaurants we have to eat at, hotels we have to stay in, things we have to do. For golfers, it's the tick-list of "Courses I have to play before I die (and preferably whilst I can still get round a golf course under 100)".

I've been lucky enough to play golf on five of the six continents (Australasia here I come!) and have always travelled with my clubs since the age of nine. Over the years I have seen amazing variety in golf course design - I calculate that I've played circa 1,500 golf clubs and I don't want to know how many balls I've lost! It was inevitable that I've played golf courses that would be better used as cow fields and others that I could play for the rest of my life. Some of the golf courses' architecture is flattering on the handicap and others make you think hard, struggle some more and eventually abandon all thoughts of posting a decent medal card. Nevertheless, if the course can beat you up and still entice you back for more, it must be good. Here's my top 10 golf courses that provide a difficult challenge.

Kingbarns

Wow, this golf course's design is good. Off the coast to the west of Saint Andrews, it's quite a new course but you certainly couldn't tell and the test is relentless. Stunning links golf with large greens, thick wispy rough and views to take your breath away. You need a good caddy, a strong drink and concentration. Deservedly rated by many Pro's as their favourite course in that part of the world.

Ballybunion

Every time I've played here, it's blown a hoolie but it's the west coast of Ireland so what can I expect? The golf courses' architecture (both new and old) provides wonderful tests of golf with every shot in the bad needed. Massive dunes, treacherous greens and wind coming from every direction. You know you've played golf after 36 holes here. The clubhouse is great but avoid buying waterproofs - it would be cheaper getting wet!

Hunstanton

I actually prefer Royal West Norfolk just down the road but Hunstanton is a sterner test of nerves. Particularly as I always seem to be playing it in scratch foursomes and I'm playing the evens. The main difficulty here is the greens - many of which are below or above you and all of which are very well guarded. The prevailing wind plays havoc with your drives but a good shot is rewarded and a bad shot is penalised so you can't complain. Wonderful and traditional golf with a clubhouse to match, ensures this golf course's design easily makes the list.

Les Bordes

Robert von Hagge is one of my favourite designers and he's created five courses in France that are rated in the European Top 50: Seignosse, Royal Mougins, Golf National and Kempferhof are the other four. Les Bordes is his best and, as such, easily makes my top 10 golf courses. With water on 14 of the holes and huge white bunkers and some very narrow fairways, you have to concentrate for the full four hours. I can't think of one easy hole. However, what von Hagge does do well is to offer an easier (albeit longer) route to the green but if you want to play to a decent handicap or just like taking risks then go for broke and rest easy (albeit with a few balls less) at night. You can sleep and eat at this hideaway in the Loire Valley.

Chantilly Vineuil

A beautiful Tom Simpson gem. This designer is probably my favourite and was incredibly prolific considering he was at his peak well before the age of aeroplane travel. And not only did he work hard, he worked brilliantly and his creations have past the test of time to remain amongst the best golf courses in the world with effortless ease. Chantilly, north of Paris, is a parkland course with thick rough and tricky greens. The bunkers are perfectly-placed and every hole presents a challenge - whether it's the length, an oak tree overhanging the fairway corner, a triple-tiered green or a massive bunker in the middle of the fairway. One of the best golf courses in the world, and definitely deserving of a place in my golf top 10!

Canouan Island

Having just come back from here and lost about five balls per round, I want to go back again better prepared. Part of the Grenadine Islands, this is a corner of paradise and the Jim Fazio golf course fits in perfectly. The front nine is demanding off the tee as the landing zones are quite narrow and the wind off the beach (just yards away) can really punish the ball. The back nine is treacherous and wonderful at the same time...every shot has to be spot on. The greens and fairways are immaculate but the rough is fluffy and the thick stuff is a no-go zone! The best golf course architecture in the Caribbean by a long way.

Pebble Beach

I haven't played that much in the States but I have played some of their best. For me, Pebble Beach is the tops. There's the usual US-style slick service that sets you up nicely and the condition of the course is typical of the California climate. Rated No.1 public USA golf course, it isn't the most difficult challenge you'll ever face but you know the green-keeper is being kind on you. However, get a little bit of wind and let the history of the course affect you and there's a very nasty bite behind the beautiful façade of the golf course's design...

The European

They say that tour pro's have walked off this course - but they only play for money and the rest of us can play for fun! A simple clubhouse belies the genius of the design. Quite long and with plenty of cunningly-placed bunkers, you have to be Gary Player and John Daly if you are going to beat this golf course's design and score well here. Again, the views are as distracting as a beautiful girl in a church and you need plenty of balls or a caddy with a long stick. South of Dublin and better than the big-name courses of the area.

Le Touessrok

For a so-called holiday golf course, this one is tough! Mauritius is now one of (if not the) best exotic golf destinations in the world with no less than six first-class courses. Le Touessrok, though, takes the biscuit with tight fairways and tiny greens. I've played this course several times, each with a different game plan...every time I've failed, but I've come back for more as the course does offer a birdie or two and a wonderful lunch. This golf course's architecture is unique as it is the only course in the world to take over an entire island, and to get there you take the private launch from the hotel. In fact, maybe that's why I never play well there as I'm too relaxed by the time I arrive!

Barbaroux

Designed by Pete Dye and located in the heart of Provence, this is a beast of a golf course with a charming three-star hotel and two restaurants. Even by today's standards it's long off the back but I remember it being one of the very first courses that I had to hit a driver and a three-wood just to hit a par four in regulation...today's balls make it shorter but it's still one of the rare courses where you can play every shot, and every club, in your bag. There are many ways of learning how to hit long drives in golf, but few are effective. When I step up to the tee, there are very few things that are on my mind at the moment. This is a good thing! When you stress too much over the fact that your trying to hit the best shot of your life, your going to mess up somewhere. These are three steps that I take every time I go up to the tee box.

1. Stretch

2. Relax and step up

3. Clear my mind

Stretching is very important. You must be as loose as possible when swinging. The more loose you can be, the more power you can generate with your core muscles of the body. Most people focus too much on generating all of their swing speed and power with their arms. This is a easy way of injuring yourself and working too hard.

Just relax and step up to the ball. I don't even take a practice swing anymore when I am up at the tee box. If I feel loose, then I am ready to go. The more I worry about my swing, the more likely I am to need that mulligan.

And finally, clear your mind! I can't stress this enough. People worry about too many things when they are getting ready to swing. This is another reason why I don't use a practice swing before each shot. When you take that practice swing, your thinking about your swing. This can result in you changing your swing which can cause you to do a number of things to interfere with your game.

Tips for Posture and How to Improve Your Golf Game with Driver Posture

When you go out and play golf, do you consistently hit the ball fat? How many times do you hit the ball thin?

I believe it has a lot to do with your posture. There have been a lot of golf tips written on posture, but let me give it to you real quick, real simple, and I guarantee these golf tips will help you the next time you're out.

If you tend to hit the ball fat and hit the ground behind the ball, there is a chance you might be bent over a little too much. If I try to hit the golf ball while you're bent over too much, you will run into the ground, way behind it.

Here are a few golf tips to help you. Instead, at address, simply lift your chin up a little bit, and that will help you swing the golf club back into the golf ball where you'll hit the ball first and then the ground.

If you tend to hit a lot of thins and tops, there's a chance you might be standing a little too tall. When you come back into the back of the ball, you constantly run over the top of it, or you hit it thin and you blade it.

Take these golf tips with you the next time you go play. Also, feel that your knees are slightly flexed, and from the two bones on each side of your hips, just bend over a little bit.

I guarantee you that these golf tips will help you stop from hitting the ground behind it or topping it, whatever the mistake is that you make.

Now I'm going to explain something to you that I think will help you improve your golf game, especially if you're trying to become more consistent driving the golf ball.

I'm 5' 7", maybe 5' 8" tall. And when I address the golf ball, because I have bent my knees slightly and have bent forward, I would then say I was probably 5 feet tall, maybe 5'1" or 5'2". But you get the idea.

After I have slightly bent my knees and I have bent from the waist forward, I'm now 5 feet off the ground.

I'm 5 feet tall, and as the club starts back, I'm still 5 feet tall. As the club starts back even further, and continues back, I'm 5 feet tall.

Now, as my right shoulder turns and I start to move some weight over to the right side, I am still 5 feet tall. At the top of the backswing I'm 5 feet tall. And now I start my arms and hands down, as my right elbow starts to straighten up, I'm still 5 feet tall.

Now I'm getting closer to impact, but I'm still 5 feet tall. And then I'm at impact and I'm 5 feet tall. The speed of my arms and hands and the golf club on the end of it is now going to start to pull me around a little bit.

And then and only then do I start to come out of my posture a little bit and I get back to where I'm 5' 8".

After the address and I'm all ready to swing, I'm going to maintain my height until the golf club pulls me around.

Try that the next time out and I guarantee you this will help improve your golf game.

David Nevogt writes golf instruction material that helps golfers of all levels reach their full potential and lower their scores. It is very easy to hit a fraction behind the ball and hit a fat, short shot. The extreme opposite is also a common occurrence of thinning it into the lip. You can hit these shots solid every time by just thinking of a few keys at the set up and throughout the swing.

Ball Back in Stance- The most important key in hitting out of the fairway bunker is that we want to hit the ball first. This is the opposite of the green side bunker where we want to hit sand first.

So the first thing we want to do is play the ball more towards the middle of the stance, or even back of middle if you have a lofted club. This will help us to strike the ball first.

Hit Down and Through- Just like from the fairway, we want to still hit down and through the ball. A lot of amatuers will try to hit up on the ball and pick it clean out of the bunker, causing a scoop and hitting behind the ball. Don't worry about hitting up on it, just hit the ball first and let the loft of the club get it up for you.

Quiet Your Lower Body- You want to stay "quiet" in your lower body throughout the swing. In other words, don't move your lower body as much during the swing. This will help you stay centered over the ball and minimize the chances of you hitting behind the ball or topping it.

Take More Club and Hit a 3/4 Shot- Take a little more club and choke up on it, trying to hit a 3/4 shot. This will also promote solid contact and less body movement.

So there are some great keys to hitting a solid fairway bunker shot. It can be intimidating, but take the above tips and practice a little and you'll be more confident with fairway bunker shots in no time.

Hit crisp like tiger

How to hit crisp iron shots is something that all golfers want to do, because when you are hitting your irons well it makes it so much easier to shoot lower scores. The problem is that most people are not able to do this due to various swing flaws, but here I am going to give you 3 tips on how you can start hitting great iron shots all the time.

The first thing that you need to do is focus on your ball position and setup. The ball should be about two inches behind the left heel for a 5 iron, and the longer irons you move it slightly further forward. Most of the shorter irons should be played in the middle of the stance. In addition to this you need to make sure that your posture is good, as this will allow you to rotate around your axis to hit crisp iron shots.

The nest step is to focus on a smooth takeaway and good tempo. Tempo is the most underrated aspect of the golf swing, and the more you focus on this the better you with play. To promote a smooth takeaway relax your forearms, hands, and shoulders; then try to take the club away from the ball as smooth as possible using all of these muscles together.

The third step to hitting good iron shots is to starting your downswing correctly. Most people just throw the hands and the ball which causes hooks, slices, fat shots, thin shots, and everything in between. However, if you start your swing down by rotating your hips to the left (for right handed players) then you will start to hit more consistent shots. This is how to hit crisp iron shots time after time.

Do you want to hit better iron shots and shoot lower scores? Before the Simple Golf Swing System I Was a 7 Handicap, Usually Shooting around 78. After the Simple Golf Swing System I took 5 Shots Off My Scores and Am Now a 2 Handicap! No Matter What Your Current Skill Level This Will Help You Dramatically.

A Golfing Tip For Swing Consistency

A good golfing tip to help you improve your control will have a tremendous impact towards improving your golf game.

Playing good golf consistently requires good control over both the mind and the body. Thus any golfing tip to help you improve your control over both will have a tremendous impact towards improving your golf game.

The golfing tip I would like to give in this article is that by working on improving control over your body, you will in effect also gain more control over your mind. This is simply because the mind gains more confidence that the body will be able to perform whatever instructions the mind communicates to the body.

This is the single golfing tip that has the potential of transforming any golfer's game literally overnight. Many times golfers work very hard on their minds and preparing them for the ideal golf game they would like to enjoy.

In fact many business executives, who have used the power of the mind to improve their businesses or even to build huge successful businesses, fully understand the potential of the mind in improving their golf games.

Still, many of them end up feeling discouraged and puzzled when things do not work out with their golf game quite the way they do in the corporate world.

They lack the simple golf tip that the game has a physical side to be taken care of, if one is to reap the full power of a mind prepared for ideal golf.

The second part of this golf tip is that there is only one known way of gaining better control of your body and it involves exercise.

Simple weight training that is golf-specific will instantly give you much better control over your body. When you strengthen your muscles, you improve functional strength which automatically gives you more control and balance. Some people believe that weight training will cause them to lose feel.

The weight training I am talking about in this golfing tip is not a program for weight-lifters and to build colossal muscles. This golfing tip is about the weight training specific to golf that conditions muscles used in golf and builds up strength. This kind of program rather than making somebody lose feel, in fact increases feel tremendously.

This is an amazing golfing tip that is bound to have an profound impact on your game

Golf Traps, Don't Get Fooled - You Can Play the Golf Tips Lottery Or Learn Properly

Have you ever come across a golfer who is walking the course happier and more confidently and coincidentally playing better golf shots than they were last time you met? When you ask what their new found confidence is due to, they say that they have fixed a problem with a new tip they just "discovered."

Yes, the "tips" trick. Somehow a tip from a magazine or friend (worse) has magically transformed a player's game and is the reason they are driving it long and straight or holing putts from everywhere!

This is not to say that the improvement in their game is not real, because in many cases it is and even I would have to admit that tips work if the tip continued to give the player the same improved results for months and years, but they don't.

Don't get confused between reading a quick fix tip in a magazine (or a friend's advice) and a well thought out piece of information given to you by a seasoned pro after he or she has had time to get to know you and your swing.

The actual truth, as painful as this may be for the "tipsters" to admit to (and they probably won't as tips sell a lot of magazines) is that the real reason golfers can enjoy a short respite and play better golf is because of a change in their mental attitude. If a golfer feels confident with a new tip they will play with more confidence and in a more relaxed state which will in turn result in better shots, thus reinforcing the myth that tips work.

If golf swing tips worked then golfers would all be playing scratch golf by now and there would be no need for coaches. Your local club pro would be a thing of the past or perhaps relegated to a keeper of the tips. How come the average handicap has not changed much in the last 30 years if tips are so good? How come the average golfer who improves with a golf tip is back where they started inside a month, the tip abandoned and an excuse for why it stopped working thought up?

I wonder if golfers like tips because they are quick and easy much the same as trying to fix a problem by buying a new driver? This is after all a highly appealing concept. Do no work or practice and just institute a quick fix tip, but the simple truth is that nothing worth while is ever is just a little "tip" away. The thought of hours on the practice range is quite off putting to many golfers or they just flat out can't budget the time, so a tip sounds really good and easy to latch onto.

Consistently reading about or listening to "tips" is lottery golf. It is possible you could eventually bump into something that does help but in the meantime you will be severely damaged by all the other tips that just don't apply to your body or golf swing.

More golfers are destroyed by tips than you can possibly imagine, and don't expect any golfer to readily admit they are held together with sticky plasters, for that's what tips are and sooner or later they all fall off.

The truth is that all golf, including the physical aspects, starts internally. Temporary good play after reading golf tips proves that it's more in the mind than anything else because if the tip genuinely worked it wouldn't be temporary. In addition remember that all physical movement is born and controlled in your mind. If you want the most performance possible, whether you like range practice or hate it, your mental game must be your primary focus for game improvement.

The beauty of mental game is that it is as close as you will ever get to quick and easy system for improving your game and it has the potential to transform your game to levels you only dream of, and doing it very quickly compared to physical practice alone.

It's no coincidence that Tiger Woods is the best golfer mentally and is the best golfer in the history of the game. There are technically better golf swings out there that don't produce anywhere near the results because they are hindered by weaker minds. Tiger is not the most accurate off the tee and he is not the best putter on tour. The difference is that when Tiger absolutely has to make the shot he is deadly at it and that's mental game at work.

The thing that really separates Tiger from the rest has more to do with his mental Game than anything else, and that was the opinion of Earl Woods as well as Tigers.

You can view "Mental Game Programs" which will give you phenomenal results in your game by going to http://www.golfmindshop.com/albatross.html to find out more about my highest recommended "Mental Game Program."

Discover What's HOT & What's ROT. Reviews of Golf Training Programs are now available online so you can read up on a system before deciding if it's right for you. Some of the systems are great and will give you excellent results if you work them, but some of the systems which promise to knock loads of shots off your game are, quite frankly, rubbish. Unfortunately, like so many of King Arthur's knights, they never find it. Why not? Is it because they lack the talent, faith or hard work? Is there some missing ingredient which causes the golf swing tips they learn to fail for them?

First of all, many golfers just do not have enough practise. Golf, like martial arts or any other sport, requires practise. Unlike, say martial arts, where you only need to practice your kicks and punches on a flat surface, golf can be much more complicated. Golf is closer to warfare - you need to practice how to use 14 different golf clubs on a variety of different surfaces and terrain. How many of us actually manage to practice all 14 of our golf clubs? At best, most of us only train with two golf clubs - the driver and the putter. What about the 2 fairway woods? And the irons and wedges? How many strokes do you lose in the sand trap or bunker because you were not familiar enough with your wedges? Is your skill with your irons good enough to get you out of the roughs efficiently?

So, it does not matter how many golf swing tips you managed to find. If you failed to get enough training with all 14 of your golf clubs, 1 tip has the same effect as 10 tips -- absolutely zero. Consider the example of Vijay Singh. Many golf experts and analysts have various nit-picks about his golf swing mechanics. Some of them do not like his posture. Some dislike his backswing. Others think he has excessive followthrough. But he ignores them all. All he does is swing his club at the ball all day long. Even during tournaments, he is reported to practice his swings 3 to 6 hours everyday. All this training pays off for him - he is a consistent tournament winner, earning six to seven figures every year in prizes.

Secondly, too many people rely on finding a silver bullet. Instead of practicing their swings and other shots, they waste their time looking at the latest new-fangled golf club in the catalog or golf shop. As if getting the latest and greatest driver or hybrid club will improve their golf swing without any practise. They forget that every time they change their club they need to re-learn the golf swing mechanics of that club. This is especially bad for some golfers who buy new golf clubs like their wives buy new shoes.

Thirdly, many golfers do not fully understand their golf swing techniques. They take the golf swing tip for one technique and try to apply it to another golf swing technique, with disastrous results for their golf swing. At the most basic level, there are two different types of swing - the "one plane swing" and the "two plane swing". When you read a tip, do you know which type of swing that tip is meant for? Many golfers face serious problems when they apply the tip for the "one plane swing" to their "two plane swing" or vice versa. For your information, Vijay Singh uses the "one plane swing" while Greg Norman uses the "two plane swing".

Despite the proliferation of golf swing tips and free golf lessons online, you only really need one tip to improve your golf swing technique - just hit the ball more often. That is all. Just hit the golf ball 10 times more everyday and you will see your handicap improving (Unless you already hit the ball 1000 times everyday).

Do you have these 3 problems with your golf swing: 1) inconsistency; 2) slice; 3) distance? For instance, merely shifting the ball location may set right that thin shot, which you tend to hit off the tee. Rather than getting dejected and vowing never again to turn up at a golf course, contemplate on a couple of tips regarding golf swing and strive at perfecting your golf swing.

Now tips on golf swing can be collected from a number of sources. A fine place to begin is with recent golf books or golf magazines. Here it is possible for you to come across golf swing tips from experts or teachers and instructors of professional golfers. Orders for magazines and books containing tips on golf swing can be placed online.

In case you are extremely earnest regarding getting a few vital tips regarding golf swing, and you possess the necessary money and the time at your disposal, think about registering for a few golf lessons or joining a golf clinic where a professional gives you expert advice.

In order to put you on the track of learning the appropriate golf swing tips, the following are some golf swing tips, which deal with the fundamentals of a golf swing.

1. Amongst the most vital tips on golf swing is to maintain a square clubface. Hitting the golf ball by means of a square clubface ensures that the ball goes straight and a long way. In order to maintain the clubface square, you require to keep a steady golf swing plane. Practice bringing the golf club right back and subsequently follow through on the very same swing plane.

2. Next, timing is of the essence in the case of your golf swing. Now you may wish to possess a steady swing speed all through the whole swing. In fact it does not help out with your golf swing if you tend to bring the golf club right back slowly and then speed up right through your swing.

3. Then, golf fitness is an essential factor for developing your golf swing. Doing some easy golf exercises can vastly enhance litheness and power.

4. The kind of golf grip that you have is a further factor in honing your golf swing. Ensure that you do not have a very rigid golf grip, or else it will hamper your golf swing action. A fine way of determining whether your golf grip remains very tight is if your arms and hands become sore after you have finished playing a game of golf.

5. In fact, the best tip on golf swing may not exactly be to your liking but it is nothing but practice, and more practice, that will assist you with your golf swing the most. The greater the time devoted to practicing, or being out there on the practice green or driving range, the greater the development you will find not just in the golf swing, but also in your total performance as well as scoring.

Abhishek is an avid Golfer! Since this amazing game is so much fun, addicting, frustrating, and a life-long adventure, you might as well try and get better as time goes on.

We're going to provide some of our best golf tips to score better so the next time you hit the links you'll
feel more confident and ready to knock some strokes off your game.

Golf isn't an easy sport to master, but it sure is fun and the better you get the more exciting the game gets. Those of us who love the game know that the more information you have regarding the swing, course management, putting, etc. the more chance you have of playing better. That's why we will take golf tips from almost anyone who's willing to offer.

So what kind of golf tips can we offer up in this article?

Space is limited, so we'll try to focus only on those tips that are most asked for and that we deem to be the best golf tips to score better that seems to plague most golfers.

First, if you have a bad temper, you probably shouldn't take up golf. We're just kidding, really. However, golf can be a frustrating game. I'd a laid back person and have thrown my club a time or two a good 30+ yards into the woods. I've seen folks throw their clubs in the water, beat the heck out of the ground, and down right sell their entire set by the 18th hole.

Actually, golf can be good for your mental state and golf is a mental game so if you get nothing else out of this article, understand that in order to get better scoring at golf, you'll have to work on the mental aspects of the game.

You may find that you can take out your frustration on the golf course in productive ways and perhaps you can gain better control of that temper! Hey it beats a day at work doesn't it??

Since most people have trouble with their setup, our first best golf tips to score better will deal with the setup...

**Position your body so your body is parallel with the target line

**Your feet should be shoulder width apart. Sometimes for taller players, I recommend widening that stance a bit.

**Make sure the ball is in line with the club you are using. With short irons, put the ball in the center of your stance. Drivers, woods, and long irons - the ball should be at your front heal. Trouble shots will vary and that is an article in and of itself.

**Balance your weight on the balls of your feet. The key is to be comfortable because you'll be utilizing your entire body to maneuver through the line of the swing.

**Bend your knees slightly and keep your spine straight

**Another tip is to just move in a fluent motion back and forth, back and forth, letting your body move your arms
naturally through the ball.

**Keep your head stead and eye on the ball until well after you complete your follow-through swing. If you don't do this, you will have a tendency to stand up on the ball which will cause you to top the ball. Do this with all shots.

What has always worked for me is to pick a spot on the ball and don't let go. If done right the ball will go where you want so there's no need to look prematurely.

Just note that there are a lot of little tidbits to a perfect golf swing, but if you boggle your mind with all of these, you'll be sure to hit a bad shot.

Just to walk you through a golf shot. First I visualize my shot before I ever hit it. I learned this technique from the great Tony Robbins. I have hit a great golf shot at least once and perhaps you have too.

Picture that in your mind because you will set your body up to recall that shot and act in that motion. Then visualize exactly what you want the ball to do. Why do you think the pros stand behind the ball and line things up before they approach?

Then you line your body up according to the above. Keep your body in line, get comfortable, make sure your grip is solid, relax, and do your waggle. Keep this part consistent so your body knows what is going to happen (we did say this was a mental game didn't we?)

Once you've done all that, bring you club back in "one-piece" as they say. Let your arms break naturally shifting your weight to the back. Then in one motion with your head steady, bring the club down through the ball while shifting (not turning) your weight through the ball. Follow through, let your back shoulder bring your head up, and watch the beauty of your perfect golf swing.

Some additional tips to help you improve your golf game:

When putting, the best golf tips to score better include...

**Visualize the path your ball will travel so that it will go in the hole

**Read the green and take into account any dips that may cause your ball to change its direction. Then you can compensate with your aim.

**The putting swing is a smooth, pendulum-like action with no wrist break. You will swing with your shoulders and should always keep your head down.

**Be sure you put enough speed on the ball so that you will actually make it to the hole. There's nothing worse than coming up short on a putt. These lead to three putt disasters and can be very frustrating!

Putting is where you score and can certainly knock strokes off your game in a heart beat. We've all heard the saying you drive for show and putt for dough!

Anyhow this is just a start when it comes to mastering the game of golf. These are a few of our best golf tips to score better. Some other areas you'll need to touch on is working the ball, trouble shots, more on the mental aspects, physical fitness, and a handful of facets that make up the game of golf.

Trust me over time it becomes natural - like riding a bike, but it does take practice and some work to get better

The golf tip to change your life

Every golfer needs to have the right grip in their repertoire of golf tips. If you don't have the right grip you will simply be hacking away at the ball like an amateur for the rest of your life. The best golf tip that I ever received was from a pro who taught me all abut the top hand grip. This is the golf tip that is gong to change the way that you play golf forever. Never again will you be feeling inferior to those around you on the golf course, nope, this golf tip is the one you have been searching for all of these years.

Your grip needs to be perfect if you want to be getting the most out of every swing. It is the golf grip that is going to give you that smooth shot so what you need to do, here is the golf tip, you need to start trying out different grips to see which one works for you the best. Not everyone does, or should have the same golf grip. The best golf tip you will ever hear is for you to start experimenting with different grips.

The golf grip that you finally choose from your favorite golf tip needs to be one that combines both the body and the club. These two very important things have to work together in perfect harmony if you want to gain that perfect swing and kick butt on the course. So start reading every golf tip that you come across and the next time you see that pro out somewhere ask him if he has a great golf tip for you. Use what you have and don't be ashamed to take advantage of any golf tip someone else may have to pass along to you. This is how you will improve your game over time.

But back to the golf swing and this very important golf tip. The perfect grip will also allow you to have ultimate power and control over the ball. This means you need to be able to have a good feel with the grip that you finally settle on. And whatever you do, don't forget about wrist hinge. This is the most important part of this golf tip so listen carefully. Wrist hinge is very important to a good golf game and to have it you want to be placing the club more in the fingers than in the palm of your hand. You will have way more feel this way and much more power. This is the best golf tip you are ever gong to hear so I hope you took notes! There is no golf tip worse than a missed golf tip!

The Inside Out Golf Swing - How to Hit a Draw in Golf Like Tiger Woods

Golf has become more and more popular these days. You must feel well with it and have a look at the quality. Especially when it is a used one. Even a customized set of clubs is possible. But this means to pay a lot of money. Anyway, try and see what fits to your needs.

After your decision and purchase you will want to know the inside out golf swing. My simple tip is practice. There is nothing more to say than that. Go to a driving range and hit the ball with your irons. As much as possible to automate your swing. Visualize your moves before you hit the ball. Mental fitness is the key to put your game to the next level. The most golfer did realize this and the only practising their physical fitness. But these two things are going hand in hand.

Of course, you need to know how a correct golf swing looks like and what drills you have to consider. Learn how golf fitness exercises can benefit the woman golfer. Lowering scores and making the game more enjoyable.

It is well known in professional golf how integral golf fitness exercises are for success at the highest levels. Men on the PGA Tour and women on the LPGA Tour understand the benefits of golf fitness exercises in achieving success. Outside the circles of professional players many questions exist about golf fitness exercises. Questions such as; what are the best exercises to improve golf fitness levels, are flexibility exercises and stretches better than other forms of golf fitness exercises, and what are the benefits of golf fitness exercises for the woman golfer?

These and many questions surround the topic of golf fitness. This article is to provide some answers for you on the topic of golf fitness exercises for woman. It has been well documented in magazines and television how LPGA women such as Annika Sorenstam utilize fitness programs to benefit their play on the course. Is there a difference between the LPGA player and the amateur woman in relation to golf fitness training? The answer is no. Yes, the women on the LPGA Tour are the best women golfers in the world, but the physiology of the LPGA player and amateur are the same. The skeletal, muscular, and neural systems are the same. The professional player has the same number of muscles in their bodies as the amateur. The woman's professional player has the same skeletal structure as the female amateur, and nervous system as well. Granted the LPGA player has more refined and efficient swing mechanics, but the body is the same.

As a result of the body being the same, the principles and structure of a golf fitness program for any woman is similar. Before discussing the specifics of a program for women it is necessary to understand a few important principles. The first principle to understand about a fitness program is sports specific. Sports specific is a term describing the type of training utilized in a golf fitness program. Sport specific training simply states the program utilized by the woman athlete is geared towards improving them in their chosen sport.

A second principle closely related to sports specific training is cross specificity training. Cross specificity training is the utilization of exercises to develop the woman golfer in the positions, movements, and actions incorporated in the golf swing. The goal of cross specificity training is a transfer of training effect to the field of competition. Simply stated, a transfer of training effect is the ability of exercises utilized to train the female golfer having a direct benefit on their performance on the course.

For example, golf flexibility exercises will attempt to improve the flexibility within the player. As the player improves their flexibility parameters in relation to the swing. She may be able to create a bigger shoulder turn, which may increase the distance of her drives. This benefit is an example of a transfer of training effect onto the golf course. In summary, the three principles that assist in the development of a golf fitness program for women are; sports specific, cross specificity training, and transfer of training effect. Many additional principles exist that are used as guidelines in the development of a fitness program, but these are three essential ones.

Outside of the guidelines governing the development of a golf fitness program for woman. Specific physical components within the body are needed within the body to execute the golf swing correctly. Remember, it is the body performing the biomechanics of the swing. In order for the swing to be executed correctly and efficiently certain levels of flexibility, balance, strength, endurance, and power are required. These are the actual physical components within the golfer a fitness program looks to develop and enhance in relation to the golf swing.

The swing requires the body to move through a long range of motion for an efficient movement to occur. Much of this is contingent upon the ability of the core to coil and uncoil during the swing. In order for these two biomechanical actions to occur efficiently, the development of proper flexibility in the core is necessary.

We utilize flexibility exercises that are cross-specific to the movements in the swing to develop flexibility. The majority of these flexibility exercises are rotational and dynamic.

The swing is a dynamic movement, indicating that the body is in constant motion. It is crucial to develop a range of motion in a dynamic rather than a static (not moving) method. The goal of these exercises is to create a range of motion in the core for the golf swing. Flexibility is the first physical component requiring development within the woman golfer.

One needs to maintain, dynamically, a stable body throughout the entire swing. We have all hit balls at the range and know what happens when we do not stay balanced during the swing. Improving the balance and stabilization capabilities of the core translates into a better golf swing. Better Balance equals a Better Swing. Even subtle movements are consistency killers; thus we need to develop and maintain balance for a consistent swing.

Balance is connected to the efficiency of the nervous system and strength of the muscular system working together. The development of greater balance in the core and swing is the result of two types of specific exercise. The first challenges the nervous system creating greater efficiency. The second are exercises that create increased strength in the core. The combination of these two types of exercises permit for the body to maintain posture, promote efficient weight transfer, and create power in the swing. The result is a more consistent, accurate, and powerful swing. This is the second component included with a golf fitness program.

Remember that the golf swing is a repetitive movement. The mechanics of the swing repeat with each stroke. This process can be repeated hundreds of times in a round of golf. Ever go to the range and hit two buckets of balls? At some point the body starts to tire, and shots scatter.

Proper endurance training enables us to repeat a sound swing. We produce this through a series of exercises developing endurance in the entire body. This nets us a consistent swing through eighteen holes. Increasing endurance leads to lower scores. This is the third physical component of the golf fitness program for women.

Club head speed is a function of power. The more power generated by the body, the greater speed at which a club head impacts the ball. More power to the ball equals longer drives. Developing higher levels of power within the muscular system of the body is achieved through the implementation of power exercises. These types of exercise assist in creating higher power outputs of the muscles involved in the golf swing. Power training is the final component found in a golf fitness program for women.

In summary a golf fitness program for the LPGA or amateur woman golfer is relatively the same. Golf exercises for the woman golfer are sports specific. The exercises are cross-specific to the movements, positions, and requirements of the swing. The exercises within a woman's golf fitness program induce a transfer of training effect onto the course. The swing requires certain levels of flexibility, balance, strength, endurance, and power to execute correctly. A golf fitness program for women will look to enhance these physical components of the body. The end result is an improved swing equating to lower scores and more enjoyment on the course.

Sean Cochran is one of the most recognized golf fitness instructors in the world today. Although most people think that the best golf equipment is the most expensive golf equipment this is not actually the case. Oftentimes you can get wonderful golf equipment for very affordable prices. This can be done in one of several different ways but the important thing is that you can get golf equipment.

The best way for you to get golf equipment is to either pay money to go to a highly classed drving range and get your clubs fitted to you or an affordable price is to look at used golf equipment. This is a wonderful way to save money and it is also very easy. You can search online for some used golf equipment or you can check out the buy and sell in your area. This is a great idea because you will not even have to pay for any shipping since you probably live near the seller of the golf equipment anyway.

You can even get all of the best top of the line golf equipment used this way. So if you have not yet searched for your golf equipment this way you should consider giving it a try. Just keep in mind that price is not everything when it comes to choosing the right golf equipment for you.

If you are looking for golf equipment like clubs then you will want to look at the shaft. This means looking at the flexibility of it to make sure that it suits your comfort level. For a golf club to be a good one it needs to have a great shaft, if the shaft is poor so is the club. If you want to find out what kind of golf equipment, especially golf club will suit you and your swing the best you will want to get your swing measured at a golf store. This will help you to choose the right golf equipment.

You will also want to look at other aspects of your golf equipment such as the length of the club that you want to use. Length is key to your golf game so check it out right away. Most people can use the standard length of club but if you are quite short or quite tall then you are going to need to get other golf equipment. You need to have your golf equipment suit you and your body if you want it to do a lot for your golf game.

Improve Your Golf Swing by Improving Your Tempo

this is some great tips to inprobing your golf swing. people think that you should swing hard at the ball but if you take your time and relax you'll find out that you will be hitting it strighter and much further i promise.

We have all heard the word tempo in relation to the golf swing. Announcers on television speak of the "great" tempo Ernie Els has in his golf swing. What does tempo mean to the amateur and their golf swing?

Tempo in the Golf Swing

Tempo in the golf swing is a combination of many parts. Tempo is part timing in all aspects of the golf swing. It is part sequencing of each position within the golf swing, and it is part "feel". Putting all these golf swing parts together creates tempo in your own golf swing.

Interconnecting each phase of the golf swing; address, take-away, backswing, transition, downswing, impact, and follow through is one part of tempo, Performing each of these phases with the correct timing is also tempo. And finally "feel" for the clubhead is part of tempo.

We can probably say tempo is the end goal of all our practice and time spent on our golf swing. Once we have developed tempo in the golf swing, there is definitely a level of mastery within it.

How Do We Develop Tempo in the Golf Swing?

A great question that does not have a simple answer: Developing tempo in the golf swing is a task that requires patience, practice, and time. There really are no short cuts to developing it within your golf swing. One practice session at the driving range will not do it. The use of a single training aide will not get you there. The implementation of a golf fitness program will not achieve this task on its own.

I say this because developing a PGA Tour type golf swing requires a "basket of tools" in your arsenal. Developing tempo and a silky smooth golf swing requires you to:

* Receive proper instruction on the fundamentals of the golf swing

* Maintain a consistent practice schedule with your golf swing

* Use swing drills to develop every as of your golf swing

* The possible implementation of training aides into your practice sessions

* Implementing of golf fitness program to develop your body around the golf swing.

The "basket of tools" listed above put together can lead you to developing great tempo in your golf swing. It requires a comprehensive approach in which no short cuts can be made. Let's take a look at the bullet points above to get a better understanding of how to go about this process.

Proper Instruction in the Mechanics of the Golf Swing

Learning the fundamentals of the golf swing is key to developing tempo. This can be achieved through quality instruction. This will allow your body to learn the nuances of the swing. This is the first step in developing tempo.

Consistent Practice of the Golf Swing

As they say practice makes perfect. In order for your body to learn and be able to repeat to proper mechanics of the golf swing, you must practice on a consistent basis. The body learns biomechanical movements through repetition. The golf swing is no different. Repetition through proper practice session is the second key to developing tempo.

Swing Drills to Develop the Golf Swing

The golf swing as a whole is one of the most intricate athletic movements to perform. In its entirety, it is a very difficult movement to perform and master. It is best when learning the golf swing to break it down into parts. Breaking the golf swing down into segments allows you more easily to master each phase of the swing. This is accomplished through the implementation of golf swing drills. Swing drills break the swing down into manageable parts.

Training Aides in Association with Your Golf Swing Drills

Training aides assist the body in developing the golf swing. Think of training aides as "training wheels" on a bicycle. They simply help your body learn certain movements and positions associated with the golf swing.

Implementing a Golf Fitness Program

Your body swings the golf club and performs the biomechanics of the golf swing. In order to perform the biomechanics of the golf swing correctly. It is necessary for your body to have certain levels of flexibility, balance, endurance, strength, and power. If your body is lacking any of this aforementioned list learning the biomechanics of the golf swing correctly will be very difficult. However, the difference between the pros and most amateurs is that the pros take the time to learn about their golf swing.

They look at each golf swing element and then address them individually. Some of the basic areas they constantly work to achieve the perfect golf swing includes the grip, stance, ball position, alignment, flexibility, balance, and the swing plane.

The foundation of a perfect golf swing starts with your grip and stance. You want balance when it comes to your golf swing, and this begins with a solid stance. Your feet should be a little more than shoulder's width apart. Your grip should be comfortable and not too tight. One sign that you may be gripping your golf club too tightly is if your hands begin to ache during your round or after you have finished playing.

Tip 1: You should also focus on your fitness level.

If you truly wants to achieve a perfect golf swing you also focus on your body fitness. The reason why is because you need flexibility. With greater flexibility comes increased power which will improve everything about your golf swing. Without being flexible, you will not be able to take a full golf swing, taking the club back far and finishing with a thorough follow-through.

Tip 2: Golf training aids can quickly improve your golf swing.

Many easy to use golf training or teaching aids can be found online, such as golf impact indicators or golf swing trainers. Integrating equipment such as training aids into your golf practice routine will bring some great improvements to your golf swing and game on the course.

Tip 3: What about equipment?

No matter how much you work on your perfect golf swing, if you are not using the right equipment you will always be hindered. Make sure you are using the right size golf clubs that have the right club shafts in them. Also, try and find a golf ball that is right for the type of golf game that you play.

Tip 4: Constant and dedicated training.

You can have the best tools and all the knowledge in the world but what it really boils down to is your level of dedication. The best golfers in the world spend countless hours on the driving range working on their golf swing. You have to be willing to invest time and energy if you truly strive to have the perfect golf swing.

Golf Swing Drills to Help Develop the Perfect Golf Swing

There are some golf swing drills to help develop the perfect golf swing. We are going to discuss some of the
golf swing drills to help develop the perfect golf swing.

However I highly recommend if you are struggling in the game and have tried all kinds of tutorials and reading books on how to properly swing the golf club; then you may want to consider hiring a golf pro to help you improve your game. They may be able to help you with perfect golf swing drills, so that you will be more confident when you are playing your next game.

You can easily do these drills from the comfort in your home; however you may want to step out in the back yard otherwise you may break something.

The perfect golf swing starts with the proper back swing with the golf club swung right back to the limit of your body. When you reach this segment of the golf swing drill, learn how to focus your mind on the rotation of your body and the arm extension; your mind will always be one step ahead of the club.

The next step is the drill is going to move down to the actual swing, which will start at the lower part of the body, which will include your legs and hips. You will want to focus on how you transfer you weight. Instead of transferring the weight from the front to the back; focus on transferring the weight from the back to the front of the knees, thighs, and hips will all be moving forward.

Be Light On Your Feet: A sure way to improve your golf swing is to move your weight through the golf ball. The basic principle to hit long and hard lies in reverse weight shift. You must not sway but turn in such a way that your back foot's spikes are in plain view.

You will want to end the perfect golf swing with the body weight on the outside of the front heel and the inside of the rear foot.

Of course you are going to have to pay attention to the form of your body and will take a lot of practice. You may even have to change your current form; because most likely you have picked up some bad habits, otherwise you would not be looking up information on how to improve your golf swing.

You will have to retrain your mind and muscles to work in this motion. How to Achieve the Perfect Golf Swing

Are you into golf? Have you been wondering exactly what the perfect golf swing is? To be practical, you want a swing that always works and is easy to predict. It should send the ball to the exact spot you want it to go. Amongst pro golfers in today's game, Tiger Woods, Jim Furyk, and Vijay Singh are the players with the best swings. Ben Hogan was the master of the golf swing in the previous generation. What do they all have in common? When they hit the ball, at the moment of impact, the face of their club is always square to the target.

Thinking of perfect golf swings brings to mind the names of greats such as Woods, Hogan, or Jones. But not everybody is a born champion. Tiger Woods' perfect golf swing was shaped out of years of hard work, a lot of natural talent he was born with, and the rigorous training of expert coaches. Whoever it is you think about, when you imagine the perfect golf swing, they must all have some things in common. When they hit the ball, they do so with great power and precision. In order to improve your swing, there are some terms you should be familiar with-

Clubhead Speed: golf analysts use this term over and over again when they talk of the golf swing. Clubhead speed basically means the power with which the head of the club strikes the ball. Now, there are a number of different ways that you can go about generating this power. Tiger Woods for example, generates power mainly from immense physical strength and perfect rotation of the shoulder. For some golfers, clubhead speed is generated from the hips. Whatever method you choose, there is no way you can attain the perfect golf swing without generating sufficient clubhead speed.

Balance: The perfect golf swing is a balanced golf swing- this is a stock line, which golf coaches use. Balance is necessary to hit the ball straight. Without balance, you cannot get the ball very far either, since you cannot generate power very well without it. Balance is also needed to work some consistency into your game. A balanced player can hit the ball straight to where he wants it, over and over again. An unbalanced player will hit the ball in random directions at times. Focus on keeping your body stable and balanced, all the way from the beginning of the swing until the end. This is the only way to hit a perfect shot.

Follow Through: A good follow through is necessary to perfect your golf swing. All the greats of golf have the same follow through pattern, and finish high. Tiger Wood is an exception though. Sometimes when he is hitting the ball on a low plane, he cuts off his follow through. That aside though, Woods and all the other great golfers have smooth, consistent follow through motions. They all finish high. This technique helps them stay through their swing and can generate the ball spin needed to tackle some of the harder courses on today's golfing circuit.

Follow Through: A good follow through is necessary to perfect your golf swing.
